Red Bud Isle is a small and quiet park that is great for dogs who need a break from the hustle and bustle of downtown Austin. This park is located on an island in Lady Bird Lake, which means that it can feel like you're miles away from the city even though you're just minutes from Austin's famous Sixth Street.

The best feature of Red Bud Isle is its size—you'll find plenty of space for your dog to run around off-leash or play fetch with you. The park also has plenty of benches for people who want to sit and watch their dogs play, as well as shade trees (though this isn't an ideal place if your dog doesn't feel comfortable being around other animals). There are multiple entry points into the water along with docks where you can enjoy a view of the paddle boarders and kayakers.

Red Bud Isle has both parking and picnic areas available on site, so don't forget snacks while you're there
